You have the free shuttle that picks up at Forsyth Park and goes all over the historic district, there is the Downtowner (get the app) and Uber is abundant and cheap to anywhere downtown.
We ask that the space, other guests, and our neighbors are treated with dignity and respect. Please respect the home and its rules. This will help us maintain peace and ensure that all of our guests have a wonderful Savannah Stay!
This is a three-level apartment and you must climb 17-steps to reach the second story where two guest rooms are located. The master suite is located on the third floor. There are no bedrooms on the first floor.
You can park up to two compact cars on the driveway located to the right of the brick building. Please ensure to not block the sidewalk to avoid fines. You can also park for free on the street in front of the property, on East Waldburg Street. This area is shared with other residents and it is on a first-come, first-served basis with no assigned spots.
Please be aware that even though we spray for bugs on a quarterly basis, you might see palmetto bugs, wasps, and other insects during your stay. They usually come out to die, but please do your best to keep them out of the house by keeping the windows and doors shut at all times, only bringing food items to the dining room, and keeping trash in the trash can.

The historical home and area had nice views, impressive restoration detail, and many activities to enjoy. We took the Georgia Queen river boat tour, rode waves at both the North and South ends of Tybee Island, played tennis and pickle ball at Daffin Park, saw Savannah Bananna baseball field from the inside, shopped along the river front, took selfies with 2nd most original Taco Bell sign in America, went through art galleries, toured St John the Baptist Cathedral, walked down Jones Street, some drank luxurious coffee at Matte Factor Cafe', and more. The home was spacious as advertised. Had a chance to meet the owner and have a great conversation. Be sure to get some pizza at the Mellow Mushroom, ice cream from Leopald's, chicken tenders (2 family size orders) at Spanky's, and tacos from Taco Bell near the historic sign or course. The Kroger nearby the house was close enough we made several visits and prepared great meals with the owner's nice appliances and cookware.
Great place! It was clean, well-kept, and in an excellent location. The Wi-Fi was a bit choppy at times, and the soundproofing between apartments could be better - thin walls, could hear sounds and footsteps from the next door house, but neither issue ruined the stay. Overall, a very nice experience!
