We think that walking around town is the best way to see the city! If riding is more your speed, we are a quick and inexpensive Uber or taxi to all of the downtown attractions. The free DOT trolley picks up just a block away and runs every fifteen minutes to the Historic District too!
If you drove here, park in the garage or on one of the many available on-street parking spots and walk or ride around Savannah. Attention must be paid to the street sweeping schedule to avoid a parking fine when parking on the street.

Great location right across the street from the park.
Enjoyed our work/vacation stay in Savannah while visiting local family. Downtown location was great! Siobhan was very hospitable and made us feel at home. The office chair was a plus for my husband. If there was a stall shower it would be even better. Definitely will consider staying again!
We loved our stay at the Carriage House...it was one of our best Air BnB stays ever! Siobhan and Dylan were great hosts and were very responsive. They made sure we could get in easily as soon as we arrived and Siobhan was very proactive ... checking in with us to see if everything was fine and the ac/heat in the carriage house was comfortable. We LOVED the location across from Forsyth Park, so easy to walk everywhere and the free DOT shuttle if you don't feel like walking. Plenty of free parking in the neighborhood when the garage space is not available. Savannah is a great city and a perfect size for exploring. Just 2 blocks away was a hidden gem, The Black Rabbit, for delicious soups, sandwiches,great cocktails and very friendly bartenders. The best meal of our month long stay was Brochu's Family Tradition...the Whole Chicken Dinner(Chicken 3 ways) is a must. Highly recommend and hope to return someday!
