This location cannot be beaten if you're looking to enjoy the best food, sights, and attractions the Hostess City is known for. You will not need a car when you stay here - River St is only a 10-minute walk and Forsyth Park is only about 15 minutes away. You can get to both places and all the sights, squares, and food in between with little effort.
The entire building - including this apartment - has gone through a thorough renovation, sparing no expense to turn this 1800s building into one of the most beautiful and welcoming spaces in the Hostess City.
The grounds are pristine and full of the Southern charm Savannah is known for. Each apartment has been thoughtfully designed to provide you with maximum comfort, access to modern amenities, and no-fuss entry so you can easily get settled and begin exploring or relaxing.
*Off note, this apartment is on the second floor, so you will have a flight of stairs to climb to reach the space.
*Additionally, the entrance to the main building, the third-story laundry room, and the courtyard are shared with other guests.
*Nevertheless, we ensure that all of our guests are here to relax and have a great time, so the shared spaces should create great opportunities to meet and mingle with similarly-minded people - which is what the Hostess City is all about!
Guests will have access to the apartment, the private porch, the shared courtyard, the shared laundry room, and the metered street parking across the building. Please refer to the check-in guide on the app for more details.
*Note: The apartment is in a building that houses other guests much like an Inn, so we ask that the space is treated with dignity and respect at all times. Please keep noise to a minimum between 8pm and 8am as per city ordinance. Parties and events are strictly prohibited.
We think that walking around town is the best way to see the city!
If riding is more your speed, we are a quick and inexpensive Uber or taxi to all of the downtown attractions. The free DOT trolley picks up just a couple of blocks away and runs every fifteen minutes to the Historic District too!
If you drove here, park on one of the many available metered on-street spots and walk or ride around Savannah. Meters are free every day after 8 pm. They are also free on Sundays and federal holidays. You can also secure a parking pass for the city through the visitor center. It's a great spot to start your stay by grabbing tons of information and flyers for local businesses.
** Note: Attention must be paid to the street sweeping schedule to avoid a parking fine when parking on the street. There are signs posted on the side of the road with sweeping times. Simply move your vehicle to a street that is not getting swept that day to avoid a ticket.
We ask that the space, other guests, and our neighbors are treated with dignity and respect. Please respect the home and its rules. This will help us maintain peace and ensure that all of our guests have a wonderful Savannah Stay!

This was our second time staying here & it is perfect for us! The location has a true Savannah feel & is walking distance to almost anything you'd want to do... Broughton, River Street, restaurants, historical attractions, museums, shopping. The beds are super comfortable & there's plenty of space to relax. Carlos & Marci are very responsive, if you need anything. Will stay again!
We had such a wonderful stay! The Airbnb was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. Check-in was incredibly easy, which made arriving stress-free. The location was perfect! We were able to walk to most of the places we wanted to visit in Savannah, and everything else was just a short drive away. Carlos & Marci were fantastic hosts: friendly, responsive, and happy to help whenever we had a question. We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Savannah!
We LOVED this home!! A gorgeous apartment in a lovingly restored mansion. It was away from the hustle & bustle while being within easy walking distance to everything. The home is on a main street and although they thoughtfully provided ear plugs, we didn’t need them. We loved sitting on the porch in the late afternoon having a beverage before dinner. It was the perfect sized place for me and my daughters for the long weekend. Highly recommend & would definitely stay again.
